Spring has finally arrived, and with it abundant opportunity for creative plays on bright colors and textures. Our Spring window at Lunaria again juxtaposes the classic antiques (the pair of antique country kitchen chairs and the antique pewter campaign bed) with the more contemporary orange patchwork area rug, colorful fur and print pillows—and textural white items to add layers in the most discrete way possible (the long haired goat ottoman, a steal at only $1500, and the mattress cover made of vinyl white ostrich fabric).

Light naturally plays a role—we are a lighting store after all—so on display are both Italamp’s Et Voilà floor lamp (on the table, where I think it makes an even more dramatic impression) and Melograno Blu’s trio of large clear pendants (info below). Both lines play with scale using classically crafted glass, and both succeed with out question in making a statement. The 42” tall Et Voilà is such a wonderful fixture; since its arrival at the store several customers just couldn’t live without it’s huge presence. It’s truly a showstopper! While we show it in Clear Glass, the Et Voilà comes in a color for everyone, from bright, fun colors like Pink and Green to a more sophisticated Cobalt Blue and—new just this year—a Smoked Glass with an iron gray shade. No house should be without this one.

To finish off the vignette, we have one of the white lacquer side tables from the award winning Reeves Design collection, and several black and white abstract charcoal originals showing the human form.
