thanks for your thoughts. it’s frankly hard to keep up with the changing legislation in the state of California let alone the whole USA and Europe. I think we are bound for a change even if we don’t want it to come. While at Euroluce last year i remember seeing the “joke display” set up in Ingo maurer’s booth call the European Condom.. where he showed a regular bulb and then a fluorescent as the protected version.. The bottom line is the incandescent bulb is still irreplaceable. the quality of light is special and for that reason it wont disappear any time soon regardless of what anyone says.
