I was on “View from the Bay” with Lisa Quinn on ABC-7 this past Monday! I gave Lisa a tour of the SFDC, giving advice on buying antiques. ABC-7 has the segment posted on their web site now - check it out here.

I often say that once you have lived with something other than white walls it’s hard to go back. Color embodies emotion, and when used effectively in a space color creates a definite mood, making the people in the space feel a certain way. When coloring a home for a client, I start by asking them to provide images to create a “visual vocabulary” that puts some of their desired subconscious environment into the design conversation. Today I received a note from Deborah Santana thanking me for the help I gave for her home. Who would have thought a thank you card could put such a big smile on my face. Our business can be thankless sometimes and so when the thanks do come in they mean so much. What a great day!

I got an email today that the segment I filmed with Lisa Quinn will air on View from the bay Jan 21st at 3 PM. Oh so exciting. Lisa and I have known each other for years and so it was so much fun to take her on an antiques tour of the design center. We talked about all kinds of cool “antique” facts and saw some beautiful things. I’m excited to see how it shaped up.
