Gruppo Lampe is this wonderful italian lighting company. I don’t know if they have officially  made their way yet to the US. the pricepoint is not an easy pill to swallow but the product is Super Cool and Ultra Glam… so excited to see a taste of their new collection.  in 2007 i was totally swept away with their $20,000 chandelier from the “La Primavera” collection…

two years ago while wandering around Milan i found this wall in a shop which ended up inspiring a super cool Table - cloth we made for one of our design clients. As i contemplate my trip back to Milan next month for this same show i wonder what new great finds i may run into if i keep my eyes open.

Everyone knows with all the lights out there it’s nearly impossible to get started when you are trying to outfit a whole house. I get asked the same question all the time, “how do you do it?” well like with anything you have to pick a place to start and even better a theme to add framework and guide you along the way when you feel lost.

As an example start at your entry and let’s take the idea of an exposed bulb.

let’s add a shape, the sphere and set an end perameter of an antique chandelier….

Any ideas from anyone out there how to make this work???
